So, this is the siest way to put your Pipo Smart S1 tablet in 'firmware update mode':
1. Make sure your tablet is turned off.
2. Connect USB to tablet, but not computer yet.
3. Hold volume - button down and connect USB to the computer.
4. The Rockchip tool should now see the tablet and give you the green light.
